New York Fashion Week 2014 - A Recap

TRESemmé Trend Bar

In the Lincoln Center tents all week is the two-story TRESemmé Trend Bar we built for Olivier Cheng Events, descriptions and photos below.

  • A white, circular bar with an illuminated product display integrated along a mirrored face beneath the counter top. This sits beneath a seamless, TRESemmé Trend Bar lightbox sign.

  • A custom product-display shelf unit with inset LED shelving and a partial acrylic facade with a translucent graphic gel layered on it.

  • 6 gloss-black Hollywood vanities with inset bulbs hidden behind milk toned acrylic circles. These were catered specifically to TRESemmé stylists.

Barbie Fashion Lounge

We built a pop-up Barbie "Fashion Lounge" in the Meatpacking District (14th St. and 9th Ave.) for TH Productions. It is running Friday and Saturday 9/5-9/6. Go check it out! Descriptions and photos below.

  •  5 - 8-foot iPhone outfit displays. These sit in front of a vinyl graphic wall on a gloss laminated platform.
  • An iPad station and Barbie doll display case that includes a waterfall counter with mounted iPad displays attached to a 68-cubby doll display that is about 10 feet tall.

Dom Pérignon/Iris van Herpen Party

We helped transform Pioneer Works in Red Hook, Brooklyn for a NYFW kickoff party. The party was a fun one. Below you'll a see a mounted gold, black Dom Pérignon shield element that includes is a green LED light accent as well. Also featured is a custom pedestal and vitrine displaying a new piece by designer/artist Iris van Herpen. Perhaps most importantly you'll see our employee of the month Peter G. in front of the step-and-repeat we built for the entrance.

(Here is a recap of Dom the event.)

Haze Eyewear Unveil

We built this six-sided 11-foot triangle for designer Stewart Girard and Haze Eyewear's 2015 line launch. It was a great party on the roof of the Hudson Hotel. The display "floats" from low profile rigging elements in each corner.

All and all a fun week at Bednark!!!
